If Manny has an average footwork, then nobody has good footwork.. :smoke

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do61EjeftB4&feature=player_embedded[/ame]

    And a lot more.. :hey

Its because most of the time he is fighting an orthodox fighter.. You think jab would be an effective choice of weapon? That's why he chose to use hte left hand lead.. :deal

he better not, pacquaio loves a guy to stand in front of him so he can chop em up.

box his ass and counter. stay in the center of the ring while taking advantage of his height and reach. stop em late

Floyd has nothing to fear from Manny, even fighting the way he did against Cotto.

Is Pacquiao's patented bunny-hop-inside-and-speedbag-flurry going to magically break through Floyd's roll-and-block-on-the-ropes defense in some way that bigger stronger men like Ortiz, DLH, and Cotto hammering away couldn't do? :huh I don't think so.

He does have average footwork. You are probably mixing foot speed up with footwork. By the way that highlight is horrible footwork and Floyd would score a knock down off some **** like that.

Floyd would knock Pac out in 7...maybe 8 rounds..Manny opens up to much and would get caught.
Floyd would not trade with Manny. He would outbox him and control the tempo of the fight. Manny is not as strong as Cotto..physically, he isn't.

I don't care how he chooses to fight Manny, he just need to stay away from the ropes.

No need. That's actually the best way to get Manny to tucker himself out with giant sustained bursts of useless offense, because otherwise you can go blue in the face waiting for Pac's stamina to run out in the center of the ring.

The difference is, Pacquioa would punch faster than them.. Floyd sees it when they are starting to throw a punch and that's why he can defend himself against them pretty well.. But at some point those guys manages to land some good shots on Floyd.. That only shows Floyd's defense have leakage that Pac could capitalize on.. ODLH and Miguel Cotto can't go in par with Pac but they managed to be effective on Floyd.. You add up Pacquioa's side to side movement.. Pac would have a decent chance to beat up Floyd, and obviously better chances than them.. :smoke

he fights like that against pac he get's overwhelmed. He better use his footwork against pac or he gets a beating.

As you can see cotto was able to tee off on him and then step off, cotto just didn't have that extra gear in the late rounds to keep doing what he was doing in the mid rounds. that is pac's natural attack, unload combos then step off.

Child please. All Floyd has to do is stay at long range and time Manny. Manny would be wasting tons of energy with all that side to side ****. Floyd could just jab and take a quick step back and set traps all night. Take away his right hand and Manny will become left hand happy like he was most of his career.

You're crazy if you don't think Mayweather needs movement against Pacquaio.

Name one fight that Pacquaio didn't beat the **** outta his opponent when they either came at him or stood in front of him.

Mosley survived with movement. If it wasn't for JMM's CONSTANT movement, he would have been ****ed up too.

If Mayweather isn't on his toes for this fight, and continually gets pushed to the ropes, he very well could get knocked out.

JMM who is one of the best counter puncher can't score a KD over that.. Considering he had 36 rounds of experience against that move and a lot of practice during sparring.. :yep

And by the way, that's not an average footwork.. Especially if you do that against a guy like JMM in multiple occasions.. :hey

Floyd showed he's capable of using the left uppercut, right hand combo in the Cotto(e) fight. Guess who else used that combo? Tijuana and Juan, both whooped emmanuel's AZZ.
