Several of the rounds were fairly close, but Mayweather found a way to win them. A widely scored fight can be competitive and still scored correctly. I love Cotto, but he didn't win more than 4 rounds. He competed in several rounds, but did not win them.

116-112 or 117-111 for Floyd.....anything else to me is absurd

ya i had the fight MUCH closer while it was going on (i had been drinking as well). When I watched it again the next morning it was still a good competitive fight, but mayweather clearly won at least 8 rounds. The only true no argument rounds for cotto were 6 and 8.

    2.05 onwards.

Leaping left hook. Watch Mayweather's legs and coordination. Watch Mayweather get caught cleanly by punches he doesn't usually get caught with afterward. Easily Cotto's best punches of the fight.

It was way closer than the cards indicated. I think judges buy into all Mayweather's publicity about the greatest defence in boxing etc, and neglected to recognize all Cotto's bodyshots and straight shots that landed, and all the punches that Cotto caught on his gloves. Cotto won the majority of the exchanges on the ropes, and before the 12th round he did more damage probably. I'd say 116-112 or 115-113 would've been good scores, 118-110 and 117-111 just too wide.

Would you say that Cotto was stunned in the 12th?

Yea....he was holding on and he was hurt...Floyd got knocked back...look at the Mosley punch x2 in the 2nd round...that is "stunned." What Floyd did to Cotto in the 12th was "stunned." I never once saw Floyd "stunned" with Cotto. Got hit a lot more than usual and knocked back:thumbsup; never stunned though.:good

Cotto won 4 rounds at best...I had him winning 3 with one round even.

All the judges gave 6th and 8th to Cotto(e). Those were the only rounds that I gave him.
