Was Margarito weight drained when Pacquiao fought him?

I wouldn't be surprised tbh, it's always the way with Pacquiao's opponents. People yapping on about how pacquiao beat such a big man up in Margarito, but the dude was probably drained from his senses, that he didn't have any idea who the dude was he was facing.

Margarito was garbage at that point. De la hoya was also garbage when he faced him. The one that was definitely drained was Cotto, had to fight at a weak 145lbs.

He did beat a prime clottey and David diaz though lol.

Margarito was nearly 170 pounds on the night of the fight, he looked very strong. He's just a walking punching bag and slower than molasses. Cotto wasn't drained either.

Margarito was a legit 150lb contender.

The Margarito that fought Pacquaio would potentially be a nightmare match up for the current version of Floyd.

You got a tireless, heavy handed, big fighter, that can take a the beating of a lifetime and still come at you like it's round 1, and you got a guy that goes around the ropes and doesn't have much punching power.

There is a reason Mayweather avoided this fight. It's the sort of fight that will make Mayweather have to dig deep to win.

So everybody talks all this **** about Margarito, but as soon as Margarito beat Cotto, and EVERYONE was talkin about Margaritio vs Mayweather, Mayweathe went on vacation for 2 years.

    You do the math.

It ain't that hard. Styles MAKE fights. PERIOD.

He was ****..? are you for real.

Margarito gave a fantastic effort, and put some punishment on Pacman!....aswell as withstanding some of the most violent attacks from Pacman over 12 rounds, that boxing has seen in the last 10 years.

    You silly *****.

Margarito is just not that great. Insignificant fighter and a cheater. He should never have come back after the loaded gloves incident, although Cotto's revenge was sweet.

I'll put it this way, perhaps the last person Floyd wants to fight may very well be Angulo.

And Angulo isn't the most skilled fighter by ANY means. It's just that Floyd cannot even make Angulo blink with his punches, and Angulo is a tireless beast that will keep coming at Floyd and never stop.

And he's got size and strength as well as being a southpaw.

Floyd is the champ at 154, so if he don't fight Pacquaio, he might as well fight Angulo.
