Floyd would make Margo miss the first 4-5 rounds, then Margo would start closing in every second and land on Floyd. Floyd wins a close one, scorecards would be 6-4 with 2 even.

Cotto and Pac punished Margo but still they took punishments in return. Floyd's would land much lesser amount of punches on Margo (Floyd never was a volume puncher) which means Margo will just straight to him and smile at his punches.

lol....hell no..Tony would get punched all night...Floyd would consistently pivot that back foot and keep Tony off balance.

Your opinion is that he would have done this...based off a Tony WITHOUT wraps, he would be able to do nothing except become a punching bag.

Floyd would tie up Margo like he was doing Cotto whenever he got closed to the ropes and spin out. And Margo's defense sucks

It would look like Rios-Abril except less clinching and more pinpoint shots landed on the aggressor. And the judges would score it correctly.

I'm not sure why people are so fascinated with Floyd struggling. He's human. It's bound to happen. Can you do enough in 12 rds to beat a healthy version of him? That's the real question.

I agree but I would add that Margo being slow as **** also makes it easy for Floyd to tee off, wouldn't be surprised if he stopped Margacheato.

BTW get rid of that avatar I hate it :fire:twisted::-(

Margarito could come in the ring with a cement truck and still wouldn't stand a chance.

    THIS.

Let's not pretend Margarito without his plaster wraps is going to give Floyd a problem.

Size was too much probably. Floyd had to run from Baldomir at times. Not bc Baldy has more skills but bc of his size. Now consider Margarito. Floyd moved up from 130 and was fighting a Welter who should have been and sometimes fought at 154.

From a size perspective Margarito's basement is Floyd's ceiling.

  13. the actual question is.....why should he have fought him???? who the **** is margarito really? is this guy some sort of ****in awesome champion/legend????

i didnt realize you were obligated to fight guys like tony margarito....like he was some sort of top p4p fighter

Floyd couldn't hurt the weak chinned Cotto. Margo would laugh at Floyd's punches. Unlike against Pac and Cotto, there is very little for Margo to think about before charging in head first. Also, Floyd's brittle wrists would really get tested against Margo's granite head. It is conceivable that Floyd would limit the amount of his punches even if he COULD land at will.

  15. tony margaritos only good attributes in the ring arent skills....they are gifts....a cement block for a head....and some pretty damn good stamina....ok maybe stamina is a skill....you can build that.....but he was given that block for a head.....

guy throws wide, windmilling, punches...hes slow....has no defense...slow feet......**** man...
