**** me! The way Bob is explaining blood testing, makes it sound like your arm will get diseased and drop off!! It's only blood! Wow, if that's how he explains a simple blood test, I feel sorry for his great grandchildren when he's reading them the little red riding hood story!

Ive had my blood taken and when its done professionally its pretty much take the needle in, wait for the blood to be taken out and wham bam thank you mam.

I gave about 3/4 of a pint and if they are just testing you they only need a small amount.

Bob Arum talking **** as usual

You believe this will happen? Hasn't happened to any of these other boxers who've agreed to take the tests... Why do you think it will happen with Manny?

    Blood drawn, now giant bruise?
I had some blood drawn on Friday morning and now there's a big black bruise the size of a very large egg (not a lump, just black surface that size.) It seems to be growing and is tender. Am I highly sensitive or did the nurse do something?

All that happened is some blood leaked into the skin. It's a bruise and you can treat it like any other bruise as long as it isn't like an egg under the skin.
You can use ice or heat on it if it makes it feel better.
Otherwise, just leave it alone. During the healing process, it may change colors like any other bruise.

It's not an allergic reaction and the nurse didn't do anything wrong,

Look, if you are subject to getting blood drawn more than once a week, it will make your arm sore, and could cause bruising. . .

I used to donate plasma twice a week, and I still have scars from the needles. . I would switch arms every time (one arm, once a week), and after a month I looked like a damn junky. . .

One time they ruptured my fuqqing vein, and it bruised up all up my bicep, and down my forearm. . . It was painful to bend my arm for weeks. . .

Even a professional nurse can still slip up, and **** some **** up.
