Just a couple of weeks before all your game plans are thrown to the can by a boxer in a category of his own, the master body puncher and undefeated IBF SMW Champion, Lucian Bute! There is no blueprint on how to beat Bute, and don't count on Froch to make one. He will endure the worst night of his boxing career by suffering from numerous power shots coming from angles he never taught existed and will have to say to the face of his neighbors that Bute is the best man he ever faced and will advise Ward to stay away if he wants to keep is « 0 ». It's good to see a man who recognizes Froch's ability to box off the back foot. . . He kinda has a slower version of Malignaggi's jab - he brings it "up" from hip-level which makes you more vulnerable, but also makes it harder for your opponent to see it coming. . .


He also throws some vicous uppercuts from range - but as SJS pointed out, he needs to set them up, and be frugal with those, or Bute will counter them real proper-like.


Lol I want to fly SJS to USA and train me. . . Or I come to England to work under his tutelage. . .

bute, in my humble opinion, will prove himself to be the best super-middle on the planet.
froch won't have the big one-punch ko power to knock him out...but, in froch's defence, he has a superb chin, head shots dont bother him...except, bute is a vicious body puncher, and this is where i see bute winning this...he will cripple froch....he will.

So, after Bute drops Froch and after I :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer , you'll probably see me walking down to ringside saying with a slow drunk voice...
