was never ever in trouble. and was just trying to prove he is a tough dude. anyone who says it was his toughest fight for years and that he was struggling etc. is wrong imo.
once he felt cotto's punches and was convinced cotto couldn't knock him out, he decided to trade to put on a show. its in regards to the floyd vs pacman negotiations. he got annoyed that people prefer to watch manny cause they get action.
Floyds last 3 or 4 fights he has been very entertaining imo. Skill wise he is the best boxer since a prime Sugar Ray Leonard imo. He beats the cheating Pacman for sure.
Agree about his skills but the Ortiz farce was not entertaining. If he's so sure he beats Pac why doesn't he fight him??
vs floyd, i don't think manny would be anywhere near as careless in his attitude than in previous opponents. he would fight a much smarter fight vs floyd imo. that's what i think many people underrestimate about pacman if he fought floyd. i suspect it would be a largely boring defensive fight to watch actually.
Totally agree - I saw 2 things of potential trouble to Floyd, 1st was the bloody nose, wasnt a thing. The 2nd was 30 secs to go in the 9th he slipped slightly on the mat and had to get off the ropes - nothing at all. And yeah, he looked unbeatable really. The only thing I can think that gives Manny a chance are his angles. I just can't see him moving in to hit Mayweather with out paying for it every single time but if he comes at Mayweather in ways nobody has before, maybe it'll work for him.

Floyd is that good he makes it look easy against quality fighters...........and I agree that he fought the way he did against Cotto for the fans..........and it was a great to watch. Now Pac just has to take the drug test that no one else seems to have a problem with & we can get it on...........I wonder why he won't take it.

floyd will get hit flush, more often by pacman than he is use to. i know floyd is gifted, but i wonder how he will cope with the pressure/embarassment from it? how will his ego handle it? he is not use to that.
