Khan only just lost to him aswell!!

The point I am trying to make is why would Petersen risk using something he has never used before and not knowing if it would work when there is random drug testing. I reckon he used them for the first fight and knowing they worked last time, he risked using them for this training camp if that makes sense.

I know what you're saying, innocent until proven guilty IMO, let's see what happens.

Testosterone itself isn't proof of juicing, it's just one of the signs. But nonetheless it looks bad for Lamont.

@fighthype: A and B urine samples "consistent with the administration of an anabolic steroid such as testosterone" #VADAYOUKNOW

Be interested to see how this turns out.

I've always been of the opinion that random testing is no more of a deterrent than any other form of testing, as the top athletes pay a premium for substances which cannot be detected in tests. There's a reason it's a multimillion dollar industry.

IF Peterson turns out to have been using steroids in the build up to this fight knowing full well that there will be intensified testing then he must have been pretty confident of not getting caught.

Exactly. it's the main reason I think Pacqiuao isn't scared of taking the tests if he IS on summat; his gear would be ace and hard to detect.

Asif Vali, Khan's business manager, told Sky Sports News: "Obviously last night it was a shock when I received the call to say Lamont had failed a drug test.
"However, the Peterson team seem to think that something's gone wrong during the very first VADA drug test which Lamont took in March. Their explanation is that it's something he took earlier on in the year - before the last fight."
Asked whether the fight was on or off as things stood, he replied: "The fight's on. Obviously the Nevada commission will come back to us with their findings. They'll look at things quite in depth before they make a final decision. That decision's due to come to us by the end of play on Tuesday."

To all those saying it was the Sun - Yeah it is the toilet of all papers but the news is correct - Peterson has failed a drugs test.

I think Peterson was probably on **** on the first fight. beating a test doesn't mean your clean. with him knowing he was gonna be random tested he must of been pretty damn confident that he had could beat it again.
