Peterson did look very powerful in his fight was Khan,; was Khan weak or was Peterson juiced up? No idea. But Khan will be gutted by this, because he was training well and couldn't wait to have this fight. It will be a huge let down for him if the fight is cancelled. He may now never get the chance to fight Peterson and for some people it will be a stick to beat him with in future, like they do with Prescott.

High levels of testosterone is a sign that steroids are being taken, but we need to see more details.

What is Peterson playing at? Win or lose he was getting a 50/50 split worth millions for this fight, why throw that away? And it messes up your opponents preparation and mindset too.

I'm shocked by this, I'm sure PEDs are used far more in sport than we'd like to think but Lamont is one of the last guys I would have suspected.

If Peterson was juicing before the last fight he's truly messed things up for Khan. Khan would probably have won easily on points, and would now be fighting at welterweight, instead he's been dragged into the Peterson drugs saga and had his career damaged.

is that confirmed though in terms of synthetic presence or simply raised levels?

i know a guy who was barred from athletics for 2 years, ruled out of the olmypics and worlds at 1500m, re-mortgaged his house, spent £150,000 on his brief and his own scientists....

18 months later he was cleared of everything.

The news reports are saying synthetic....if thats the case there really are no mitigating circumstances.

That's all the tweet said, obviously his team have come out and said they are trying to clear his name and the fight is still on, we don't know for sure if this isn't a false positive or something.

Even if it is will it matter though? after Salido beat Guerrero and tested positive, he submitted a negative test the very next day but it didn't matter.
