Those that complain about this fight are fannies. Haye/Chisora NEEDS TO HAPPEN! It pisses all over Wlad/Thompson II which takes place a week before,
it's a fight that makes perfect sense...it should generate a fortune, and there's no need to spend on promotion, its all be done already with the brawl and all. but..fooked if i can get my head around this whole luxemburg thing....i'm going to have to get someone to explain it to me like i'm a six year old.
The Luxembourg Commission has been set up by Bruce Baker of the Professional Boxing Promoter's Association. Freedom of trade laws within the EU allow overseas commissions/federations to compete within member states. The precedent has already been set - the Austrian and Turkish federations have already sanctioned shows within Germany. The biggest threat to the BBBofC is that the Luxembourg Commission will have a promoter model license that doesn't require a bond. In theory promoters could surrender their license, sign with Luxembourg, get a full refund from the BBBofC and then continue business as normal within the UK. It looks very, very grim for the BBBofC if Luxembourg gets a foothold in the UK. There are already promoters looking to jump ship.
This fight will destroy the prestige and mandate of the BBBofC and if it goes without hiccup will totally erase the stigma or controversy of "unlicensed" boxing in the UK. Because, that's what this is, in truth, it's "alternatively licensed" or "unlicensed". I mean, come on, the Luxembourg Boxing Federation endorsement is a joke. What next ? The Somalia Boxing Federation operating out of an internet shop in Wembley on Allegedly's payroll.
As excited as I am I think the event not going ahead still is rather likely, until they are in the ring and fighting. Not sure whether it's worth forking out for train, hotel etc and then it not going ahead.

When are the tickets being released? Where would be the best place to get them from? Haye within 6 Rounds. He is going to blitz Dereck!
thanks fella. so, how come this hasn't happened in some scenario already ?....is it an expensive route to go down for some reason ?...why aren't high level unlicensed boxers trying this road ?
The key was to find an EU member state without an active boxing commission, hence the decision to use Luxembourg. :good
