Do you mean 25% Mayweather, 25% Pacquiao and 50% Arum?

That's the 50/50 being offered to Floyd.

You are in no position to speak on boxing fans or monetary considerations.

Okay but you need to understand that we as fans want the fight but Floyd and his people, and Manny and his people are going to talk business and go over numbers. You are getting emotionally involved bc you have no gain money wise in this. They are not using emotions. Now if Floyd does a 50/50 split he would be losing money. That is a fact and he is going to look at that from a business stand point and he should. We as fans need to understand that. None of this **** matters though until Arum gets in a room with Shaefer and the mediator and work it out.

You are getting emotional instead of looking at things with logic. Let me ask you a question. Would Floyd be losing money off of a 50/50 split than what he makes now? Would Manny be gaining money?

Yeah well that's my point but it wont work for this fight such is its potential.

Floyd had just "made more" against Oscar going into the Hatton fight ....... he tried to use "smart business" to "try and get more" against Hatton but it backfired on him.

He wont let that happen again but there's so much potential Worldwide for this that straight 50/50 is the only way IMO.

If Floyd wants the lions share of US PPV money then it is natural Manny will want a bigger piece of Asian TV money and there's potential there that Team Mayweather could have a repeat of the Hatton situation, where they have gambled and lost big time.

Very original response and one that shows a lot of thought.

You are a fan of one fighter and don't take the time to learn about the sport and how the business side of it works.

I can also tell that you are dumber than a bag of hammers.

    Bye!

are you saying that not even pac is authorized to ask what split he rightfully deserves? do you remember that pac-hatton saga where arum is ok with 50/50 split but pac himself is not ok with it and wants a fair bit more 52/48. in the end, arum has no choice but to oblige to pac and gave him the extra 2% that he was asking.

    I would get less :rofl
If Floyd actually bring in bigger numbers then he is entitled to the bigger cut.

But it´s not like Arum wants this fight. He will probably have Pacquiao face Marquez again.

this is ironic because you on the other hand would rather floyd earn more than make this fight.

if floyd doesn't get more than 50% split, would you rather not see this fight?
