Pacquiao doesn't deserve 50/50 based on his past career earnings and the PPV numbers he does. Absolute fact, if it was anyone else other than Pacquiao who is stupidly overhyped by boxing fans they would all agree.

Look at the business side of it, when Manny can do the same numbers as Floyd- then he has a shout for 50/50.

well floyd does have his own entourage and maybe bigger. oscar, schaeffer, roger, haymon, ellerbe (probably offers his services for free), steroid-laden bodyguards, etc....

That was a one time thing. Long-time trainers are entitled to 10%

True but Floyd has ways of paying them outside of his bout purse. His business models allows for that. Now business wise is it smart for Manny to do 60/40? Yes or No and explain.

Floyd hires GBP (Oscar and Shaffer) for a flat fee to co-promote. Roger is his uncle, probably gives him flat fee to keep the money in the family. Haymon is his manager, probably gets 10% of revenue. Ellerbe probably gets flat fee.

    Steroid bodyguards are cheap.

not really. he pays for them in the standard way. his business model is that he has the power to buy his opponents purse like in the ortiz fight. he tried to do that also to pac. basically risking his own money so that returns would be bigger. but he pays the same percentage from his own guarantee to his promoter (hoya and schaeffer) and his own manager (haymon).

60/40 to the winner? it's not as good as 50/50 but 60/40 to the winner is still much better than accepting floyd's offer without any PPV share. also it gives premium to the fighter who pushed more for the win.

let me put this in the simplest terms possible for you ******s...

    1) KONCZ IS NOT PAC'S PROMOTER
    2) KONCZ DOES NOT WORK FOR BOB ARUM

External auditors of Manny's finances found out that Koncz actually does work for Arum.

But Manny might not get 40 million with a 50/50 share. Floyd and Oscar got a combined 75 million with Floyd only getting 25 of it. This fight would have to do crazy ass numbers in order for each of them to make 50 or 60 million. I am talking well over 3 million PPV buys and a 30 million dollar gate.

pac is also taking risk. he knows that this fight would likely sell more than flop. just like with floyd guaranteeing pac's purse without any PPV. this way, he can get pac's PPV upside as well.

and if floyd thinks his offer of $40M is big enough for a limited revenue for this fight, arum is offering a $50M guarantee for floyd under the same terms that he is offering pac. so arum is also risking money if this fight flops which is almost impossible.

50/50 is the way to go so that each side would share the risk or share the revenue equally. it doesn't matter what percentage goes to their promoter or manager.
