The A sample was tested in April, the latest is a result of the B sample...both samples showed positive

    He's ****ed.

Very soon we'll hear 'I had a niggling injury a few months back...' :patsch

Bradley and Ortiz obviously convinced him he wasn't quite there when it came to the top.

Funny thing is he only just scraped a win over Khan, in his hometown, with point deductions! Khan is mo more a puncher than Bradley (certainly not Ortiz) and still hurt Lamont a few times and was in the fight throughout. Goes to show that after he cycled, he was stronger but not necessarily any better.

I really hope people don't start saying he was so 'steroid strong' that Amir was uncomfortable and that's why he kept pushing him

Ironic thing is one of the key men behind VADA who carried these tests out is Victor Conte.

We don't have the full details yet but as it stands it doesn't look great for Peterson. Shame as well cos he seemed like such a likeable fighter. There's no excuses at all for this sort of stuff though.

You look at the outrage when drugs cheats get caught in cycling or athletics yet in boxing we just seem to let people get away with it even though the consequences are far greater in boxing. You're playing with another mans health :-(. It's just as bad as Margarito with his dodgy hand wraps.

Im guessing that "the big advantages" you mention would be an increase in strength and faster muscle recovery times.

If i want to get pissed i dont drink meths.

Test will give strength gains and increase muscle recovery but the price you pay is no where near worth it,there is much better AAS and PEDs out there to do that job. Metabolites can still be detected up to a year after using testosterone depending on the ester.
Fluoxymesterone or methyltrienolone is probably the best AAS out there for boxers and this would be taken for a short period of time,2wk max.Couple this with EPO then you have a cycle made for fighters.
There is also "design your own" steroids such as Conte was involved with at Balco. The same person who now works at VADA. As mentioned earlier, you cant test for something when you dont know what your looking for.Thats probably why they have Conte onboard.
You also mention you cant believe he didnt know anything.
Well im of the same opinion but that doesnt explain why he agreed to a voluntary when he could of just said,"no im not doing it" and no one would of been any wiser. It dont make sense. But at the end of the day hes tested positive.

  8. When I initially heard the news I'd assumed he'd been caught taking diuretics, I mean... he's a big ****er who put on over a stone prior to the first fight, and might need some added help to shift water weight that could put him over 140lbs.

I was surprised to read that he'd been busted for testosterone.

I suppose this is the problem with taking supplements. 99.9% of athletes will take something that they believe to be performance enhancing if they know it's legal - and fair enough I guess - but who is responsible for checking these things?

Can you trust them? And at the end of the day it's only you who's putting them in your body.

Did he/she say ''it'll be ok, they can't be detected'' or ''they're perfectly legal'' :think

    And so on.

Either way, things don't look good for him right now.

    ****. There you have it.

Also, is Kizer saying that Peterson took it to train for the first fight with Amir? Or that he used these 'pellets' directly before the fight?! :-(

Your all naive if you think all the top boxer aren't on something. Why do you think they only fight twice a year ? There obviously cycling something, to me it sound like his team ****ed up and they didn't leave enough time between the end of cycle and the first test.

And when i say top boxers i mean everyone, mayweather, pacquiao, khan, obviously bradley the lists endless.
