Apparently, Wlad seems to think that this fight is a 'freak show'. And this fight is not good for the fans or the sport.

Sorry, But I for one think this is a fight Heavyweight boxing NEEDS, and is bringing back a massive amount of interest to both the division, and the sport from casual viewers.

Sounds to me as though somebody's is simply jealous that a fight (One week after his own) will receive more attention than his own fight :S

Not to mention this interview: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5-TsH9Pehg[/ame]

Where from minute 3 onwards, all he pretty much does is talk about David Haye.

Wlad, you're known for being a gentlemen - Either promote your fights in a more exciting manner, or accept that thus far, Haye vs. Chisora is the fight of 2012!

wlad's letting his morality interfere with business here. this fight is huge for boxing and the heavyweight division, and it actually has the potential to be genuinely exciting, one that gets the adrenaline going.

Wlad should have fought Del Boy himself. Who cares about him fighting Mormeck or Thompson.

I don't care if it is. It's a competitive fight between a top 10 fighter and a top 20 type, that's the kind of match ups we want to see.

The fact there has to be a cage between them does make it seem like a joke. David Haye will destroy him though.

never in the history of boxing have people cared more about a non title heavyweight bout than a unified heavyweight title match. people simply do not give a **** about klitschko thompson, while haye chisora is about to be the most high profile heavyweight matchup in years.

Wlad has a press conference today but nobody cared about it. Everyone on this forum was talking about the Haye/Chisora fight.

Boxing doesn't need the Klitschkos. Let them have their one sided fights in Germany in front of a pacifist audience who want to believe they're anything more than 'good' fighters. Let them be the Sven Ottke's or Felix Sturm's of the heavyweight division.

The rest of the world simply doesn't care. They want hostility and violence from the heavyweight division, not arm punches, pawing jabs and holding. They want charisma and humour out of the ring, not charity work and multilingual bad jokes.

The Klitschkos don't give your average fan what they want. Haye and Chisora do.

Wlad may be correct, afterall this fight is based on what happened at a press conference, not on what these two have done in the ring.

However, freak shows sell. Why else was Tyson still such a huge market force despite being shot to **** for many of those years.

    Exactly.

Wlad is jealous of the admiration other heavyweights get. He may have the titles but he doesn't have the adoration he wants. Nobody outside of Germany and other pacifist nations give a **** about his fights.

haha Waldo is pissed off his fight is ****. Haye vs Chisora will be the biggest heavyweight fight in Britain since Lewis vs Bruno, I see it going the same way too with Haye stopping Delboy.
