    Everyone be happy that this snoozer was kicked to the curb. Let's hope HBO does the same. New head of Showtime, Stephen Espinoza seems to be doing a fantastic job over there.

    what hardcore boxing fan wouldnt wanna see that? i dunno...id love to see that fight....i sat through andre dirrell/curtis stevens in person.....it wouldnt be that bad

    this is what's wrong with boxing. The Ring Champion at 168 and top p4p fighter vs the Ring Champ at 175 and another top p4p boxer want to fight each other and the network rejects it

    Umm, regardless of potential bore factor (it wouldn't be boring--Ward would make Dawson look like the lazy no-heart loser he is), this is still a huge fight. Needs to happen.

    Why the hell are they rejecting this? I would like to see this to get rid of one of two boring fighters.

    Boxing is a business and neither of these guys draw flies to ****, or fights a style that would draw the casual viewer to watch. The only appeal about this is their talent which isn't TV friendly.

    man i really dont think ward is boring at all and I'd love to see how he adapts to dawsons considerable physical gifts. I legitimately have never been bored by a Ward fight. Is it just cus they all go to decision? It isn't as if he runs from his opponents or refuses to engage.

    dawson on the other hand is boring as ****, and its a shame because he has the tools to be an extremely entertaining fighter just not the temperament.
