Does anyone feel sorry for Lamont Peterson?

    Came from absolutely nothing and had fought his way into boxing and regardless of what happens in the future he has done really well.

    He won the biggest fight of his life and couldn't celebrate it properly with all this talk about being awarded a hometown decision.

    Then Hatman came along and made matters worse which ultimately led to the rematch.

    Then he asks for drug testing and is found positive?! Surely he didn't know he was taking an illegal substance, which is terrible bad luck.

    Now he may be given a 9 month ban from the sport. He'll have to come back and rebuild a tarnished reputation and also rebuild his name to get bigger fights.

    Just when he was at the top of the world, his world came crashing down on him, gotta feel sorry for the guy.
    What makes it worse is that he's the nicest guy in boxing...no trash talk, cursing or nothing. Very sad day in boxing if you ask me.

    Comes across as a good guy but isn't so nice after all?

    Came off the street...acts like is off the street (behind closed doors?)

    I feel sorry for him in that he has messed up. He will never be treated the same again.

    most of those tests are bull**** anyway... trace of this a trace of that , lets wait 5 months to make this public, a guy that called for extra testing and he gets caught? something just doesnt sound right.....

    Man i used to feel sorry for him 20 hours ago. If he has done the dodgy **** people r talking about then it's obv unpardonable. Hatman knows Barry really well; Hatman manages one of Barry's fighters and is involved in Team USA for the Olympics.

    Maybe he needs some time out... he needs to give his armpits some rest as well man... what about his kids what is he gonna say to them? Atleast he's a millionaire now.

    I feel that people will remember Lamont by 'oh it's that guy who won a SD over Khan with the help of uncle ref, hatman and testosterone pellets'. Kinda reductionist if you ask me.

    Whereas, Khan complained and whined like a ***** cos he obv cared about those titles he had from 2009 - 2011. He wanted the rematch but now seems like it's gonna be called off.

    Our only hope is Victor lol...

    Pacquaio has never tested positive yet people hate him for PED use, yet when Peterson test positive people feel sorry for him.

    I admit it was a suprise to hear that he had tested positive because he didn't seem the type to cheat, even stranger that he was caught by the same test that he ask for.
