yeah the difference is Pac can make it (see david diaz fight and tell me thats not the same sized Pac of today) whereas ***** nation will be bitching about how Pac weightdrained Floyd. Frame=size, and thus Pac is in every sense of the word smaller than Floyd.

Pac could not make 135 these days. If he could have he would have at least made 140 for the Marquez/Bradley fights.

Respect your opinion but I just disagree, I can see where the case can be made of Pac resume is indeed better than Mayweather. But I'll give Floyd the edge.

For one he has been greater over a longer period of time. The guy turns pro in 1996 and by 1998 hes ranked in the top 10 p4p. Around this same time Manny is still getting KTFO by body shots and isn't even known by most of the boxing world.

Having wins over Morales and Barrera are definitely resume boosters, but not enough imo. All his wins over JMM are questionable, so I can't give him full credit for those. And his resume over 140 is just :verysad

DLH- Drained DelaHoya. Give credit because a win is a win, but not as much as Floyds win over him at 154.

Hatton- Pac just whooped Hatton's ass, I dont buy the Mayweather killed his confidence bull**** lol give Pac full credit right here

Cotto- now I think any version of Cotto loses to Pac, maybe not in the fashion that it happened, but just bad matchup for Cotto imo. but my beef here is he is fighting for a guys belt and its a catchweight? come on man.Especially with the "won tiltles in 8 divisions". Fight a guy at the weight his belt is for.

Clottey- very next fight for the same belt but no catchweight, makes me think the catchweight was just for Pac's advantage. :-(

Margarito- fought for vacant belt at a catchweight. just two question marks for me. again "won titles in 8 divisions"

    Mosley- solid win

    JMM3- well, no comment

Despite these flaws I do think Pac has a pretty good resume. But better than Floyd's? I think not

Pacquiao's resume is better but it's close.

Including defeats, FM is undefeated :happy

A fully fit Hatton would have beaten Manny IMO. Hatton was not the same after a loss to FM.

Pacquiao's first two defeats were when he was a kid and fighting to eat. Losing is never good, but they have little to no impact on his legacy to me. His third defeat was to Erik Morales, who is a god. His two draws, in fact, were both terrible decisions - one being a scoring mistake and the other a product of disgraceful judging in a fight he should've won by DQ before it even got to the cards.

Pacquiao's lineal title at the weight he was "fighting to eat at" is one of his most herladed accomplishments. If people give him credit for winning the belt at the weight, you have to give credit to his KO losses at said weight.

Can't sweep one thing under the rug, and "big up" something else.

Actually, that's precisely what makes it so impressive. And I didn't say his losses didn't count - they're clearly there on his record - I just said they don't damage his legacy much in my view.

C'mon, the pacturds only use that line of thinking to discredit his knockout losses. Never to big up the title win.

I can only speak for myself, I don't know anything of what the 'pacturds' think. Like I said though, it's very close and Floyd has been pulling closer in recent fights.
