    :lol: @ Canelo better than Oscar. I think Tunney, Pep, Greb, Fitzimmons, Marciano, Benny Leonard, Wilde, Fenech, Dempsey, and Basilio were better. I'd say he's a top 20 white fighter. I put him in the same company as Collins.

    This. . . Back then, the Irish, Italian, German, etc. immigrants were fighting on even terms with blacks. . . Then eventually more of them moved out of the ghetto, and their future generations had no need to box. . .

    Whereas discrimination basically just up until recently kept more black people boxing.

    There's no such thing as a "superior" race in regards to athleticism, intelligence, etc. . .

    Seriously, who is this Willie Pep guy?

    Why did he never move up in weight either? He's never gonna get the recognition of someone like Manny Pacquiao because he never seemed to really take on any challenges outside of his weight category.

    So this Willie Pep guy isn't even white? :lol: :patsch Too many wannabes thinking they know they're history just by watching youtube clips. It is hard to tell the exact colouredness of someone in a black and white video though admittedly.
