Floyd's fights with Castillo 1 and Cotto prove to me that this guy DOMINATES him...

Past-prime Cotto getting beaten wide by Mayweather is a result that really seems to have some people confused.

Pernell beats Chavez at any weight, i have no problem recognizing that...Pernell has arguably THE worst style to deal with for pretty much anyone around those weights...Randall was more of catching Julio at the right time...Not taking any credit away from him at all since he did put on a great fight, but had that been the Chavez of the Taylor fight, it would have been a completly diffrent story...

and yes, i do agree Floyd was a monster at those weights as well, which is why i see this as a very competitive fight. :good

I'm debating who's greater at 130 between him and Floyd. Would favor JCC H2H though despite being a Floyd fan.

Also, Cotto has gained a newfound respect from me but lets not forget that Floyd still won clearly as he did against Castillo in the rematch. His chin got tested in both fights as was his heart and he didn't disappoint. All three fights including Castillo 1.

BTW, Pops you're a great poster when you're not hating on Floyd and Rashad Evans. lol

Competitive, yes, but the thread says "DOMINATES". That's just crazy talk.

Yes i agree. Nobody at 130lbs-140lbs dominates Floyd ever.

another foolish thread. proves how thick some people really are. Not saying jcc wouldn't have won but... No way would he have dominated floyd at 130 - 135lb and I also have to question how a 154lb cotto has anything to do with JCC. Not to mention that floyd was injured in the first castillo fight and won a ud in the 2nd.

Didnt see much of Popkins after the JMM 3 fight!!!! Digging up old footage of Chavez and passing it off as him being Prime just shows your lack of Knowledge on this sport.

Chavez beats most fighters of this generation but he certainly wouldn't dominate Floyd although i would favor him to win.

This guy (who is similar to Chavez) would also stop Floyd:
