I live in America and will spend a Saturday afternoon watching Chisora/Haye if the fight is broadcast here. I would not stay home to watch Wlad/Thompson.

I put Wlad fights in the DVR and watch them at double speed. That is, when they are broadcast.

Funny you mention Tyson/Douglas. People skipped that fight because they thought it would be too short. Exactly the opposite of why we skip Wlad's fights.

 

Thompson is at least as good as either Haye or Chisora. I'd favor him over either.

Still, Haye, while limited, crude, unskilled and a delusional coward...vs. Chisora, who I actually kind of like, is a bout between two named fighters and that's good for the sport and for fans.

Not a fight I'd pay to watch, but will likely sell well in the UK. Hopefully its free in the US.

 

You put two guys who genuinely dislike each other in the ring and people will watch. I have several friends who won't watch Wlad who would love to watch an exciting heavyweight fight.
