Proksa looked awful in that fight. I'm not talking about the cut or anything but he just looked plain poor.

I'd like to see an improvement but in truth I dont envisage this guy going very far .....

:yep He's probably thinking from a humorous standpoint, as opposed to what's best for boxing.

I'm hoping some weird upset via DQ or whatever doesn't happen, because I'm keen to see how the Hope rematch plays out (and what Proksa can do from here on out if he gets his revenge) - but you gotta admit. It would be ****ing hilarious if he lost the joke "title shot 1 win quota" tuneup.

Two consecutive and exponentially more embarrassing losses in a row, after all the hype he received throughout 2011 (from me among many others, I'll admit) - would be pretty damn funny.

How funny is this? Just a few months after Proksa beat the hell out of Sebastian Sylvester, ppl were saying Proksa is the next Roy Jones Jr.

    :huh

    Not funny at all!:!:

Maybe Post Box was trying to be funny with his comment. I didn't think he was one of these jerks who simply hate Polish fighters bc they are Poles.

:bart I'd find it hilarious if a British fighter got egg on his face like that.

Nah, I don't think he's swept up in all that UK vs. Poland nonsense (and neither am I, being a yank and having no dog in that race).

We're both just guys with twisted sensibilities who can appreciate a good apple cart going topsy turvy. :good

How did you have the first fight scored?
How do you envision the rematch?

I dont know...why does everyone who fights in England that is non English end up screwed over in one way or another?

You are known for horrible favorable reffing and judging.

Proksa ****ed up and he knows it. He said he DREAMS about the rematch to show it was just him overconfident/fluke for Hope. Deep inside we all agree that it was the case in that fight, I think. Proksa is an axceptional talent that got too hot-headed that night. Hopefully he learns from that and goes on to achieve things that his talent makes him capable of.

    10. 10-9 Hope
    11. 10-9 Hope
    12. 10-9 Hope

    114-114 draw

Now, the only round I could see shifting on is the 5th (could see giving it to Hope instead, giving him the 115-113 win). Can't really see swinging any of my Hope rounds over to Proksa.

There's an argument that Hope should have lost double points for an intentional headbutt about midway through. (although the ref didn't rule it). If it was officially ruled, that would turn my draw scorecard into a 114-112 win for Proksa. If you change the 5th to a Hope round, though, it just goes from 115-113 Hope to 113-113 - a draw again.

But, it wasn't ruled so that's all irrelevant.

As for the rematch, it all depends on what Proksa tries to do. Is he going to be angry and try to tear Hope's head off his shoulders? Because he'll just fall into the same trap again. Is he going to be overcautious and try to box instead and avoid getting hit back as much? Then he risks losing rounds on activity... He needs to strike a proper balance.
