Canelo will be matched with another fighter coming off a loss, Miguel Cotto. He won't face Lara anytime soon.

If he wants a Canelo fight he will have to force the issue by beating guys like Lara and Kirkland. The guy wants to pull a Bute, but he doesn't have the financial backing to do so.

I take it you didn't see that fight. Huggy bear Molina made it a sloppy fight as usual and didn't leave the judges with much to go by. It almost seems he fought not to lose instead of fighting to win. Back to the subject. If I were Vanes, I wouldn't want a fight with Lara until I got it in writing too. Its smart, but most will take it as a duck. Head to head I think Lara wins convincingly though.

He did not get owned. Molina did not get owned either. Niether guy could do **** and if you ask me it was Molina who got in the most trouble in the later rounds.

Vanes is 100% right. You guys don't get it? Vanes gets NO GARANTEE he will face Canelo if he wins against Lara. Why will he risks his record and health for a fight that holds no garantee for the winner. It is wiser to go for another title shot.

Vanes vs. Lara is the highest revenue fight for him. Even without a Canelo guarantee this makes him the most money. Add in the fact that beating Lara vaults him up the rankings and makes him a more viable, but still beatable, opponent for Canelo and it reeks of a duck.

The WBC is corrupt. It's not like a guarantee from them is worth much anyway.

Wow, somebody actually remembers this. If you pay any attention to all the ESB bandwagon Lara fans lately, you would think this never happened!

Who would you guys pick to fight? The best in the world with the career payday or a high risk low reward? We all know Mayweather-Alvarez most likely happening when Floyd gets out. Gbp will leave Khan for later for Floyd.

    Meanwhile, Molina-Lara II should happen.

Vanes has been ducking Lara for a while, he should grow up and stop dreaming about Canelo

Why is Laura still ducking King Molina? Molina will gladly beat his ass again.

Amen, and for the record I don't blame vanes at all he should have had his shot long time ago, the WBC is here to blame because they didn't assure him that the winner will have a shot at Canelo...
