Frank has a lot less chance of getting the sub considering JDS is going to be more on guard and isn't likely to wade in. The reason Frank got the subs against Lesnar and Nog is because they were trying to finish him.

But if he gets a hold no matter what his opponent is trying to do, he has good odds to finish the fight.

I've said it before, JDS only loss came from a sub.

And Mir has the best subs at heavy outside of Fedor.

If it goes to ground it could get real ugly for Junior. But I don't see it heading down there until Mir gets decked and Junior jumps on him to finish things.

    Should be interesting.

It's the classic match-up between the guy who wants to take it to the ground and the guy who doesn't. Always interesting to watch how these ones unfold.

I appologize for that guy and his gay little filipino lover like holding hands, and hugging each other the entire time while commentating on the Mir vs Nog fight.

But that video is the only official UFC video of the fight on youtube and not a copyright issue for posting the entire fight, as it a UFC promotional for the Mir vs Dos Santos bout.

JDS aint one of these guys who jump in to finish his wonded prey. He kinda scoots round to their head and pounds on their face from a standing position, as if using his fists as a plunger

He was out face to the ground while Nog wanted to go for a sub instead of keep going with his fists.
If JDS pounds on Mir the same way Nog did im not so sure the ref would stand and look the same way he did

  11. if it goes to ground then Mir wins, but Mir has a glass jaw, simple as that.

I still think JDS takes this.

NOt really sure about the plunger thing but yeah. He doesn't get over excited. Look at the Carwin first round he ups the pace but he doesn't go all out

Its not going to the ground. Have you seen Mir's take down skills? Na neither have i. He's getting kneed in the face and skull ****ed up against the cage for at least a minute and a half. Just recall what Brock or Carwin did to him but expect twice as much violence.
