Some rounds were competitive but Cotto only won 6 and 8 in my eyes, Floyd clearly outlanded him with cleaner/harder shots in every other round.

Im shocked at some of the rounds these 'respected boxing pundits' are giving Cotto

I thought it was a clear 9-3 fight. I would allow for 8-4 but i feel 7-5 is outright and so is 10-2. I think Cotto won 3 clear rounds. He was competitive but never in control of the bout and clearly lost.

all of you guys are missing the point of this thread. it's simply addressing the flaws in the scoring of boxing and using the mayweather cotto fight as an example. very interesting read to those he had the cognitive ability to actually comprehend it.

I think it does illustrate that it in no way was a 10-2 in rounds win.

I do think it was a clear win for Floyd though - 8-4 but I wouldn't argue iwth 7-5 in rounds.

Easy solution. More 10-10 rounds. I honestly don't think the fight was that difficult to score. A few close rounds, but those writers were probably giving Cotto a bit more leeway than a lot of the boxing fans here.

thus far, polls have 94% of judges/media/fans scoring this fight for Floyd.

Stop trying, your making yourself look very bad.
