Its an exercise in fantasy, which we are forced to do when it comes to FLoyd.

Chavez was struggling with old ass Ramirez. C'mon now. Against a Prime Floyd?

    Floyd UD.

At what point did you think he struggled?

Homeboy cruised I thought...He showed JLR a fair bit of respect because they were old mates.

He had him all ****ed up in the 4th and just hung back picking him off.

I wouldn't base anything off that fight personally...totally different fight.

Hard to judge at 135 because his career there is a bit overblown, historically.

I think he's referring strictly to accomplishments at the weight in question...not overall effectiveness at the weight. Chavez didn't hang around at 135 for very long and Castillo really made his mark at LW.

Exactly. Whenever people hear Chavez at 135 its OMGZ!

But really, he has an ancient Ramirez and Rosario, the Limon on his resume. It's not that terrifying.

Have you even seen the Chavez-Ramirez fight ?

They were close friends & Chavez counter-punched him from the outside rather than make it a war, he won pretty easily, Ramirez won a couple of rounds here & there but JCC was in control the entire bout.

Chavez put on a clinic against Ramirez...Although Ramirez did make it competitive at times, i would probably give him one round...maybe 2 being generous...But yeah, nowhere in that fight did Chavez struggled a bit.

That right hand Julio landed while against the ropes that floored Ramirez in the 4th was an absolute beauty to watch. :good

Could go either way. I'd slightly favor Floyd be decision though.

    Like I said,

Castillo beating Mayweather > Chavez beating Rosario

Mayweather could not knock out Chavez if they fought tomorrow.
