    Dwyer's most recent video is pretty interesting. It's 35 minutes long, and goes over 5 fighters that he believes have the best chance of beating Mayweather. He also claims Mayweather is thinking of retiring in order to avoid these guys. Here's his list;

    1. Sergio Martinez
    2. Saul Alvarez
    3. Brad Solomon
    4. Robert Guerrero
    5. Amir Khan

Outside of Solomon, I believe these are all excellent fights. Sadly, Martinez is the only guy that anyone seems to have any interest in seeing Mayweather fight at this time.

I agree with Khan and Martinez; Canelo and Khan would need time; not familiar with Solomon. IMO you cannot ignore Pacquiao's name in this discussion. Thanks for posting though, I disagree with Dwyer often but he always discusses fight dynamics in an interesting way, I'll check the vid out.

What is sad about that? It's the best fight possible right now at 154. Canelo fight is a bit early - Saul beating Cotto would create good buzz - but even if Floyd were to fight him right now, it would do tremendous PPV numbers due to the Latino market. Alvarez is responsible for a large number of PPVs this past Cinco De Mayo PPV, he only needs to get a bit more known for the English speaking audience. GBP/HBO is on that. No idea where does Dwyer get this Solomon thing.

Because it decreases the chances of those fights getting made. Even with the Martinez fight, there's really not enough buzz surrounding that matchup to compel Mayweather to take it. Right now it's Pacquioa or bust for Mayweather, and there are a lot of issues that make it seem like it's going to be bust again.

I honestly think at 154 Sergio stops Floyd its not Floyd best weight he is alot better at 147 i dont think he would be able to beat Sergio specially because i think Sergio would be at leas 160 come fight night!!!

    I want the alvares fight

I think Floyd wins but i think Canelo can present plenty of difficulties and learn a lot and advance his own career

As far the the Latino market goes, I think they'll be interested in Pretty vs. Sexy, and regarding the rest, they buy any hype anyway and Martinez would make a great 24/7 since he's charismatic, articulate and a little different to your average Jo(s)e.

He has a crush on Salomon. Keeps mentioning him randomly all the time.

Other than that, very reasonable choices. Most of them are quite obvious, in fact.

Segio would be 165 fight night. Its 10 pounds. Even at 154 Floyd would end up fighting the Sergio Martinez we see fighting right now.
Sergio usually weighs in 165 at fight night.

Angulo, Williams, Molina, Lara, and Pacquaio are more dangerous than Solomon, Guerrero, and Khan.

Add Kirkland to that list too.

    Who the **** is Soloman?

****in Guerrero? You got to be ****in kiddin me.

Floyd is the 154 lb champ. Why is Dwyer pickin lightweights like Guerrero?

Does anybody here honestly think Guerrero can even make Mayweather break a sweat?

Angulo and Williams are big southpaws that won't be hurt by Mayweather's punches and will deliver relentless pressure.

Lara is a better boxer than Guerrero, plus he's bigger, longer, and has more power.

Again, who the **** is Soloman?

And Khan? Khan couldn't get past Peterson, so how is Khan even in the discussion?

Molina and Kirkland offer far more problems than Khan.

To me, the most obvious choice as far as least risk and highest reward is Alvarez. Alvarez isn't seasoned enough to get in the ring with a guy like Mayweather, and GBP knows it.

The most obvious choice in my opinion, is Pacquaio.

Actually scratch what I said about Alvarez, Floyd's easiest option would be Khan, which would be rewarding, but it's a fight where the outcome will never be in question.

I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd KO's Khan.

Solomon has some great natural boxing skill, but he hasn't been tested yet and he's locked in a legal battle with his crooked promoters for a year now. I think Mike Jones and Austin Trout would push Floyd more than Guerrero or Khan ever could.

    Sexy Sergio
    Erizlandy
    Killa Kellz

Now the fights that I think can happen are Sexy Sergio, emmanuel, and Amir. No one knows who Erizlandy, Solomon, and Guerrero are.

It's up to his standard of being as stupid as possible while sounding intelligent with the clever trick of saying "literally" and other gimmicks.
