I guess it's better from Golden Boy's perspective if Garcia loses to Khan instead of Olusegun. Can't wait to read DiBella's explosion on this if it's true.

what are garcias chances? i havnt seen him fight apart form morales and holt fights, holt fight was a stinker and i think the morales fight was real close. i would have gave it to morales if he never got knocked down

    Don't think it will happen...

Why would Garcia risk a loss?

Garcia's counterpunching style will get killed by Khan.

If he can land some good punches and last 12 rounds and maybe look decent against Khan it would defintly show he has talent and is ready to take over the top spots in 140 when Khan leaves.

Because he otherwise has to fight Olusegun next in a fight he's also likely to lose and which carries a fraction of the reward Khan would.

Its a good risk for him imo, he will get a career high payday and its better to lose against someone like Khan who brings more to the table than to take the chance of losing to some mandatory for small change.

Khan would beat Garcia fairly easily. IMO
(I'd rather see Amir in there Vs. a fighter that can shatter his jaw... adds drama)
^Reason I was glad the Bradley fight never fell through.

This got to be BS. I thought Garcia was hurt? There is news he won't be back for a while and the top two contenders are going to fight for a interim belt.

    Matthysse-Soto for WBC interim belt?

    By Gabriel F. Cordero

According to one source, the June 23 fight between multi-division world champion Humberto “Zorrita” Soto and Lucas Matthysse will be for the WBC interim super lightweight world title. Champion Danny Garcia, who recently won the WBC belt against Erik Morales, is out with an injury and it’s not yet known when he’ll be ready to return.

However, today WBC President Jose Sulaiman informed Fightnews.com that at this moment it’s not easy to make a fight for WBC interim super lightweight world title between Soto and Matthysse because the #1 ranked fighter is Olusegun Ajose and there are many situations to take into consideration for accepting this fight, but so far Olusegun would have the first choice.

What has Marcos done ever since the Khan fight? WBA handed him the interim WBA belt a week after Khan beat him. His outing at 147 was dissapointing.

How many times has Zab been the mandatory for the IBF belt? Be honest..

    Not much.

I was hoping to get to see him welcome Rios to 140 by wooping his ass...

Shame Maidana trains with Garcia now so that won't happen.
