Chisora's the kind of guy that wins the event before the fights even started.

Whilst I agree that the 'entire business was shady', Chagaev was to all intents and purposes demoted to the status of 'champion in recess' - whilst he was injured Valuev fought for the 'vacant' WBA world title; not teh 'interim, not the 'regular', but 'vacant' title.

When he was scheduled to face Valuev he was in effect the challenger, despite the spurious 'title' the WBA had decided to hand him in his long absence from the ring.

I really don't know how anybody could try to claim he deserved to keep his title after longer than a year out of the ring.

Here you go you thick ****ing ****.

Chagaev defeated Skelton on the 19th of January 2008.

His next fight was against Carl Davis Drumond on the 7th of February 2009.

That's over a year. Not the '3 or 4 months out of the ring' you postulated.

I know it might seem a complete overreaction, but he's accused me of fabrication in the past regarding this matter. Besides it's Manning he knows what he's doing.

Serious question here, which of these is really worse:

    a) Fighting with a defensive strategy, mainly on the back foot and losing a 12 round decision to the most dominant heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis.

    or

    b) Turning up 3 stone overweight to a British title fight, fighting with no real gameplan, losing a 12 round decision to Tyson Fury and by his own admission afterwards "not really giving a toss about it".

    :think

Both of these happened only last July.

Serious question here. Which of these is more commendable:

    a) Bigging yourself up for years while fighting has beens or never was's, then when you get your big shot you circle out of distance for 12 rounds and blame your loss on your little toe

    b) Taking on the best you can get, giving your best in every fight, never taking a backwards step, and never complaining even when you were clearly robbed in one of those fights.
