If Dawson goes to Ward's hometown Oakland, California as well in front of a raucous 12-15,000(since he cant draw anything where he is from on the US East Coast) it may be another Pascal type situation with Ward simply outboxing Dawson...with Dawson doing his usual on the road freezing up.

 

One problem - when has Ward ever drawn a crowd that size?

 

Ward has drawn crowds near 10k at least a couple times at the Oracle Arena, which holds 18k for Golden State.

 

Didn't know that, I know he did less than 5000 for Bika though.

 

Bika crowd was smaller than the Kessler, Allan Green & Miranda bouts.

1 of them did around 10k, another just under which is why promoter Dan Goossen keeps claiming he can get a near sellout (18k) if Bute is willing to come to Oakland.

Either way alot compared to Dawson who can barely get 1,000.
