did u check the PRICES for that fight? it turned out being the 3rd highest grossing non heavyweight PPV event because of how much it cost to order it.

trust me, it would have sold more if it wasnt so damn expensive

With this, it's obvious that Floyd deserves the bigger split, now Arum will NEVER agree to the fight.

They need to Keep Loading these cards with good fights.

"IF" Pac vs. May does come off, it will probably be upwards of $100. So, they better give the fans a heavily packed card.

    The numbers dont lie dumbo.

    Pac-Margs did 1.15
    May-ortiz did 1.25

Manny didnt have to load his card with Canelo and Morales.

When they negotiate and mayweather points to his Cotto fight selling 1.5 to manny-bradley at only around 1.0-1.2 Bob will tell him to get ****ed because cotto is clearly a much bigger name than timothy bradley and he wont be stocking his card with names like Alvarez and Mosley. Not to mention on Cinco de mayo!!

Cotto-may and Pac-bradley will say NOTHING about being a bigger draw.

Arum on June 15th : "Wow we got it all counted now... looks like we sold 1.25 mil... same as Mayweather with his PPV first timer... give us 50/50 or your ducking"

    They absolutely do not.

And numbers have Floyd pitching a shutout over Pacquiao, Pacquiaos still a big draw and a good addition to boxing, but lets end the debate between who is the biggest draw. Floyds gates are massive in comparison to Pacquiaos gates.

to put it in context...if Pac fought Bradley on cinco de mayo with an undercard of Chavez Jr. vs Jermain taylor (fairly big name, washed up has been) that card would DO A **** LOT MORE THAN 1.5 MILLION buys.

Well maybe 40mil won't look to bad to Pac after that happens. If he wants to lose 20mil in order to gain 5-10 more mill then he has nobody elst to blame but himself(well maybe Arum)

Wow, I guess the reported estimated purse for Cotto getting 30 million is accurate. It's looking like he made around 35 million for this fight.

Anyone want to bet that with this result and the fight being such a good one, we see a rematch? This huge payday is just too good for Floyd and Miguel.
