    I don't think Floyd can buyout Pac. Not for 40 million. If it is strictly "legacy" and "Bragging rights" for Pac, he can do it. But if he is thinking business wise as well, forget it. Not based on what the "possible" estimates could/would be for a fight between the two {Pac/Floyd}
I wouldn't do it even if it was my largest purse unless I just decided, "F-it; I'll take the "W" and the legacy points and if Floyd wants the rematch after I kick his ass, it will cost him because I run the show now"

PPV buys. Gate tickets. Advertisement. World Money Generated. Etc.

The percentage of 60/40 sounded better.

I would still cut Bob Arum out of the picture. You do not need Arum to get any cut of this fight unless he is strictly taking from Pac's end as say, a manager. But Promoter...forget it. Pac and especially "Mayweather Promotions, GOLDEN BOY" do not need any help from Bobby.

I said somewhere in that vicinity bball. It's really simple...if I know I'm worth 300/hr, I'm not gonna get a job that only pays me 50/hr. At least you know Floyd's offer was laughable and likely a cop-out.

Pac/Margarito had a bunch of Pinoy fighters on it, it certainly helped.

i will post this again. You must see where floyd is coming from, not just ppv buys but the money he is making per fight but also generating.

floyd v oscar beats, pac v oscar

floyd v hatton, beats, pac v hatton.

Floyd V cotto, beats pac v cotto

Floyd V Mosley, beats Pac v mosley.

FLoyd v marquez apparently doesn't beat pac v marquez 3(unconfirmed), but at the time beated pac's two previous ppv fights with the same man.

It's clear who the cash cow of boxing is, not only is floyd earning more per fight, he generating more money from common opponents, I see where he coming from now.

Consider the Mayweather Pacquiao fight officially dead because Bradley is gonna beat Pacquiao...

In 9 @HBOboxing PPVs, @FloydMayweather has generated 9.6 million buys & $543 million in TV revenue, according to HBO. And people had the cheek to say floyd is not good for the sport, when in fact he is the face of boxing.

Wait, are you seriously implying Margarito and Ortiz were equivalent in name and drawing ability? Ortiz was closer to Clottey than Margs, though I guess that particular comparison wouldn't support your bias.

Only if they make headbutts legal.

Otherwise Bradley is getting KTFO in six rounds.

Hahaha yeah right. Cause there are maybe 50 mexicans to every pinoy in the US? Having a few pinoys is NOTHING like having morales and alvarez on your card.

Floyd's going to use this number as an excuse to stick to 50/50 when Pac-bradley only does 1.0-1.2 but the fact is pac-bradley wont be on cinco de mayo, wont feature an undercard with names like alvarez and mosley, and bradley isn't nearly the name that cotto is. NOT EVEN CLOSE.

it says nothing about mayweather having more drawing power.

Really don't understand why boxing fans are so happy about this. Mayweather is making silly money and good for him - but expensive PPV which limits the audience is a big part of what's killing the game. 1.5 million viewers are nothing compared to how many would watch on terrestial tv. I know the boxers wouldn't make as much but it would be much better for the fans.

    I expected $1.3-$1.4. Great news.

If it was Pacquiao vs Mayweather this would have easily hit $2.5+.
