The old man despite his losing streak did well for himself. The ropes held David up on more than one occasion.
what? I agree that john ruiz fought as best he could. had he brought that style to more fights throughout his career, he'd be considered an all action slugger by mos, but let's be serious, held by the ropes? not only was david haye never in trouble in that fight, he also beat the absolute bricks off of ruiz. that was a true display of haye's heavyweight power. ruiz never had a chance polish.
Rewatch it. Ruiz knocked Haye into the ropes several times. Yes Haye landed a clean KD in the 1st but couldnt rattle Ruiz beyond that...unless you count the punches landed on the back of Ruiz's head.
knocked him into the ropes and the ropes having to hold haye up? I don't need to see the fight again for that man. being the first guy to stop ruiz in a decade and a half is no minor feat.
Why are you OBSESSED with David Haye AND british fighters in general?....Do you have some sort of inferiority complex of the british or something?....Chill out fella! POLISH fighters are good too....But im not going to trawl the net to find loads of video's of adamek in 99% of his heavyweight fights getting hurt,or the fella in your avatar getting hurt and beat by the useless welsh fella with 1 ko!!
I think PP is dissapointed How Adamek's hw career turned out... Honestly. PP and guys you should let it go.. Adamek had great career and you poles can be damn proud of him. I wish we had someday fighter as good as tomas was in lighter weights that we could be proud of :good but you are only doing harm to yourself with threads like this.
It happens when your only notable heavweights either get sent across the ring by rangefinder jabs or flat out refuse to fight.
