...Take the test, and shut the **** up. :deal

Listen, I agree he should get some of the PPV revenue. But his insistence on 50/50 is ****ing laughable at this point, as Floyd CLEARLY brings in and makes more money than him.

May-Cotto did 1.5 Million buys, which is something that Pac has never hit. There havent even been official numbers released for his last 2 fights (although I am sure they did over a million buys). He has never reached 1.5 million buys with any opponent (common with Floyd or otherwise) and he WILL never hit that mark with anyone in the sport other than Floyd.

Listen, it's a business. If Floyd wanted to just give Pac 50/50 to make the fight, I would be fine looking from the outside in, as a fan who wants to see the fight.

But Arum knows that 50/50 can and will never happen, and if the shoe was on the other foot, Arum would NEVER concede to having to the biggest draw in the sport give up half of the revenue to someone who cant generate as much (which is the reason why DLH-Mosley 3 and DLH-Tito 2 never happened and guess who promoted DLH??)

There is absolutely no mathmatical reason for Floyd to do this, and while it may frustrate us as fans, it is the nature of the business.

Floyd has owned Pac in the number of fights in the top 10 live gates of all time, head to head PPV numbers against common opponents, and purses earned from said fights.

There is no way for Arum to spin this (although he will try). If Pac wants this fight, he needs to leave Arum, and get with someone who has HIS best interest in mind. I am even sure he can get more than the $40 million with the right people negotiating for him.

Floyd had a $32 million dollar guarantee in his last fight. Pac had a $6 million dollar guarantee.

But Floyd is supposed to go 50/50?:rofl:rofl

Like I said, if Floyd did it, I would not even be mad, because we get to see the fight. But the idea that it is Floyd being unreasonable is simply not true.

Unless you think Pac vs. Bradley will top 1.5 million ppv buys :-(

Take what test? And because PBF says he has to take different, he has to?
    I never got that.....

Not for nothing but I went to both Pacquiao fights here in Dallas, and one drew 73,000 and the other one drew 50,000 plus.

From what I heard last week, up until Friday they were still empty seats at the MGM and they were been sold at a 30% discount....

    50/50

If you take away this last fight where you had a HOF, Floyd, and two Latino's on a Cinco De Mayo card, Pac's numbers in recent fights between common opposition has actually been better. Someone should pull the recent numbers up. I am not sure why people think Floyd is the bigger draw. If anything, Golden Boy does a hell of a better job advertising. This Cotto fight was all over the place in terms of advertisement. When it comes to the numbers, Pac starts to only compete when he became a mega-star (Post-Oscar fight). So if you compare Floyd-Oscar to Oscar-Pac Floyd's numbers will of course look better for Floyd. After that, the numbers are rather comparable.

Pac has NEVER EVER drawn 73,000 to Dallas, and I know you cant find a link to back that up because it is completely FALSE.

And regarding the discount, I'm sure you heard that from Arum who has been screaming about it all last week. Not really a reliable source.

And even if what you say is true (and it isnt) how does the explain the disparity between purses earned and PPV numbers against common opponents?

So Floyd needs help to earn big numbers, but Pac does it all by himself, despite the fact that he has fought many of the same opponents in recent years?

    Cool story bro!!:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Floyd should offer him a lower guarantee like 15-20 mill and give him a 50/50 cut of the PPV. Will still be Pac's biggest purse by far.

Oh and tell Arum to kick rocks.

We can compare the recent numbers since post-Oscar for Pac. It is not as if they aren't comparable. You think Floyd hit 1.5 and Cinco De Mayo, Cotto, Alvarez, and Mosley all being on the under-card didn't help?

Nobody said Pac did it all by himself, but let's be real... Top Rank does a shitty ass job compared to Golden Boy in promoting and putting on better cards. Evident by the Floyd-Cotto numbers which you seem eager in giving all the credit toward.

PAc has fought in May several times, on Cinco De mayo weekend, has a legit Mexican fanbase, mexicans on the undercard (like Rios) and he still doesnt hit those numbers.

    Grabbing at straws man. :deal

floyd is not going to agree on a reasonable purse split.

if he does, then the fight could actuall happen where he could seriously get hurt.
