They pin themselves together immediately, literally locking horns. Arslan circles left and waves his jab out, getting a crowbar's worth of separation. Alexeev shyly puts out his own jab toward the shorter southpaw. Both circle inside. Right hook to the earlobe by Arslan. Left uppercut by Arslan. Right hook to the side of the head by Arslan. Alexeev leans in and sticks a right jab through the guard. Left uppercut under the elbow by Arslan. Alexeev tries a right hook but is too close. Several right jabs by Alexeev, blocked. Arslan circles and catches straight shots on his forearms, holding them stiffly vertical and pinned together. Alexeev tries to push him back across the ring and land some jabs. Two-armed shove by Alexeev. Arslan lands another uppercut, grazing Alexeev's chin as he pushes forward. Alexeev tries his own pair of uppercuts, both blocked.

Being in Arslan's home town, the official cards could have it the opposite. :yep

Round 3

Alexeev reaches across with jabs to the forearms and left upper-hooks trying to attack from below the guard. Alexeev is bobbing and weaving, dropping his head from one side to the other as he pushes Arslan back across the ring. Not much offense coming back from Arslan. Whipping left by Arslan. Jabs by Alexeev. They each take turns playing peekaboo from behind their guards, poking out first their heads for a quick look and then a jab - both blocking. Whipping left by Arslan. Another. Another. Alexeev just keeps coming forward with ear muffs on getting clubbed but not hurt. They press together again and Arslan gets an uppercut through. Jabs to the guard by Alexeev. Clinch.

Round 4

Alexeev stands in front of Arslan and jabs, then takes a sweeping right hook to the cheek and starts to circle and bob his head. They press together and Alexeev tries to push Arslan back. A few glancing uppercuts by Arslan. Long right jab stretched out by Alexeev, pushing softly against the guard of Arslan to set up a left hand. It gets blocked. Arslan is slapping the sides of Alexeev's body while getting pushed back. Alexeev isn't punching much. Some long uppercuts by Alexeev as Arslan steps outside. Alexeev walks into a few skyrocketing lefts and rights from Arslan on the backfoot. Clubbing left by Arslan as Alexeev ducks in.
