I think an easy solution is 55-45 or 60-40 to the winner. Floyd's 40 mill guaranteed and I'll take the rest of the 80+ million is absurd.

    So 60/40 is not reasonable?

Yeah, leave the split for the biggest fight in history in the hands of judges that can be bought, and whose competence has already been at issue over the last few years.

That sounds like a smart business move. :huh

So you're saying a Floyd-Pac fight will be so close that Floyd is liable to being robbed?

Alright, then it should just be 50-50 on the merits Floyd is demanding OSDT and has tarnished Pac's image. If Pac takes the test with all the money to be made then 50-50 should be a reasonable solution. I still don't get how people are acting like the numbers are so one-sided. They're rather comparable.

Thats funny because on both fights, they blasted attendance numbers on the big screens and they were both higher than what Dan Rafael just quoted on those articles. But its all good, because he even those numbers will beat any live-gate for any of PBF's fights, right? Am I correct on that?

PS - How many have you traveled anywhere to go see PBF fight?

Please enlighten us on examples of multi million dollar contracts you have negotiated in the past. Don't be shy. This is the internet and you can lie your axe off. We're not gonna believe it anyhow given how much time you spend on here, but go ahead, we could use the laugh.

The gate for the Clottey fight was a little over $6M. The Margo fight was about the same.

The split should be 55/45 Mayweather in all reality of today's world. 40 million flat is not a good deal. If I were Pac, I wouldn't take it either. But, if I were Pac, I'd probably counter offer with 40 million and 35% of the PPV cut with a deal that rewards but limits Arums' involvement, even if out of my pocket. I would counter Floyd with that offer, plus cutting Golden Boy out and having the undercard featuring exclusively Mayweather Promotions and Pacquiao's promoted fighters, giving more reward to the card, and not having Top Rank or Golden Boys' name on it.
