If this fight gets confirmed I'll probably run a bus down. I already have half a dozen or so people that have/are going to get tickets anyway and if this gets announced on the bill there will probably be a few more. If anyone else in the Glasgow/Lanarkshire area is interested give me a shout.

I believe the fight will happen I just believe Burns is worried that Mitchell may be dangerous for him thats all

You are telling me that Kevin Mitchell is not a dangerous opponent? If you say he isn't then you must be taking something.

I don't denote that you have to stand by your fighter and you believe in him. I am not saying Mitchell will win or Burns will win. I just feel this is a rejuvenated Mitchell who wants to make up for what happened against Katsidis. John Murray is no bum and I felt he showed his intent and neither was Lora. I am also not denying Burns who beat Martinez and Katsidis is a different fighter we have seen.

But this will be a test for Burns as both lads can box and box very good maybe Burns has the edge but where Mitchell lacks that little bit he makes up in power. Tell me that you ain't worried about Mitchell's power and I know your lying.

 

I think it would be extremely short sighted of any trainer not feel slightly wary of Mitchell's potential ability.

I'm still not convinced as to how good Mitchell is (he has lacked some consistency), however he has shown in the past that when he's on his A game he can be a very dangerous opponent.

I'm sure that both Billy and Ricky, whilst understandably confident, will be aware of the need to stay sharp and focused against Mitchell:bbb
