These arguments are stupid in both ways.

You can't take a guy from 2012 to fight a guy from 1920.

    Different styles, techniques, physics....

In true theory, most champs of now would beat champs from pre-1950 due to growth of training/conditioning/learning etc.

But I'll never say who is 'greater'.

Usain Bolt is faster than Jesse Owens, but is he as great?

No one is punching Usain Bolt in the face.

Anyone reckon Usain Bolt would be able to take Wladimir Klitschko the distance as well? :think

If he runs at him as fast as he can and bumps into him he might knock him over and injure him. A TKO1 on the night later overturned to a no decision, but a clear Bolt EVT 1 Wlad :deal

  6. They all have a plan until they are punched in the face :deal

Agreed. Modern conditioning has made Wladimir Klitschko hit so hard it took him numerous staggerings and knockdowns to put away a shot Rahman.

David Haye couldn't even spark out Audley Harrison properly. Are you shittin' me?!

The skill and stamina differnce between Haye and a guy like Patterson is massive I maybe drunk but Patterson of the Johansson 2 fight would destroye Haye within 3 rounds.

The Bruno that beat Coetzee would smash Haye to bits IMO.

    Yeah. He'd overwhelm Haye early.
Haye has the punch to do Bruno in, but he takes too long getting around to throwing it. And he'd be too cautious against such a strong, hard-hitting opponent. Bruno will be all over him in the meantime, pumping jabs in his face, for starters. Bruno be all over him, with basic fundamentals and raw power. It would look like a mismatch.
    2nd round.

I think Haye would be too fast and mobile for Bruno. Bruno never beat anyone as good as Haye in his career. Maybe McCall, but that was a debatable win imo.
