So you really don't think that without Arum, Pacquiao wouldn't be able to get a license or fights?

    source please.

it's all starting to make sense. i thought top rank made a mistake by making the bradley/pac fight. if his contract is up...then now it makes all the sense in the world! this is pac's cashout fight.

And who will promote them? GBP, the entity who promotes Mayweather Promotion fights, INCLUDING Mayweather's own fights?

So then if what you are saying is correct, why does one make so much more than the other?

did you not read any of the other stuff I said :huh

Floyd is promoted by GB and by Arum before that

    for a very good reason

doing what a top level promoter does is NOT easy and floyd and Pac most certainly cannot do it thats why they hire these extremley sucessful businessmen !!

what's the difference? floyd would still not give pac any share of the PPV money.

and asking pac to leave his promoter is lilke asking floyd to drop GBP. why wouldn't floyd drop oscar who takes 27% cut out of his share? because floyd needs oscar to promote his fights.

Wasn't it suppose to end recently and he decided to stay on with Top rank has it already come to expiry again. He will probably stick with TR until he retires.

Mayweather doesn't have a promotional license, neither did Cotto as far as I know and there were still "Miguel COtto promotions" attached to the fight

GBP works as an independent entity as far as Mayweather and Cotto, who have managers. GBP got a flat fee for the fight, it'd be the same as Pac/Mayweather if Pac were to leave.

you have no idea what Pac gives Arum nor what Arum actually does and has been sucessfully doing for over 40 years

these promoters all spent their years as bankers lawyers and accountants and they are EXCELLENT with decades of experience

you think some young man who has boxed all his life for money is gonna jump in there and rein in the cash :lol:

If Floyd or Pac ever really did go it all alone they would be eaten by the sharks out there:good

you think being in the ring is tough :huh

they would be broke in no time:good

better chance of arum winning a boxing match IMO
