See thread title; 1.5 is 94 mil. It's just a ballpark figure. Although understand neither fighter actually takes all that revenue home as they need to further divert some of that money to their respective promoters, employees, incurred costs etc...However, the logic still stands, if Pac is responsible for a chunk of the pile of money, than he is deserving of getting that chunk. If the chunk rounds out to about 40mil, than he should go ahead and agree. But come on, this fight will surpass 2mil ppv buys.

The original figures for DLH V Mayweather was 2.15 million buys and it has constantly been moved up. Both fighters are still making money on that fight.

I am not sure 1.7 million is possible but 1.6 is.

 

Actually, *****s are disappointed. Cinco de Mayo, the biggest day in boxing with Canelo/Mosley under card plus heavy promotions ? 1.5 is a disappointment, they were expecting more.

Strange, less than a week they have the result of the ppv buys, but it took them more than four weeks to release the Floyd/Ortiz numbers which only did 1.2M plus.:think

 

Strange they NEVER released Pac-Marquez 3 numbers... :think

 

What a load. *******s must have a secret meeting where they put together canned responses when Floyd outdraws Pacquiao against common opponents. We still haven't seen the numbers from Pac/Mosley or Pac/Marquez III so waiting 4 weeks for Floyd/Ortiz doesn't even compare.
