Boom. There's no way Jones will take this to the mat. Except Henderson though may attempt a take down or two. Or even try and use his Greco to good measure up against the cage. This fight all depends on how well Henderson can close the distance. With his huge over hand right and counter left hook that in my opinion is a distinct possibility.

Who's to say Jones can't take a right hand from Henderson anyway?? I personally don't believe Jones will be that stupid enough to trade in the pocket with him, but if he did, there's no evidence to date saying Jones doesn't have the whiskers to shake off a possible right hand or two.

Hendo is the ****ing man. I honestly feel that the H-Bomb landing is a real possibility and i feel that is going to be the scenario that will play out, but i also think something like a Jones gnp stoppage is possible as well. Just the thought of Jones being the first one to stop Hendo makes me ill lol.

Yes, they were great accomplishments twenty ****ing years ago. Have you seen Dan's MMA fights? He was getting muscled in the clinch by a rocked Shogun in the first three rounds of his last fight before he gassed. Do I even have to bring up Shields? You're seriously overrating Henderson's defensive wrestling. He's been taken down by a laundry list of guys who were far worse wrestlers than Jones. If he doesn't knock Jones out, he's going to get finished on the ground early in the fight probably by submission.

BTW enough with using amateur grappling credentials to pick the outcomes of MMA fights. It's ridiculous. Jones, for example, has embarrassed a bunch of guys who were much more accomplished wrestlers than he was. The guy who arguably has the wrestling in the sport has no amateur background to speak of. How did Palhares' ADCC medal help him against Belcher last week?

The problem i have with Hendo getting so much man love on this forum is he's a well known cheat. Dont understand how some guys get vilified for being cheats, while with others it gets brushed under t' carpet

I don't get it either. He's exploiting a doping loophole, and there's clearly been a marked improvement in his game since he started the TRT.

I'm a huge Jones fan, but I don't like the comparison. They're completely different fighters.

One thing is clear though, Jones is light years ahead of where Silva was as an MMA fighter at the same age.

I love Hendo but he must literally be relying completely on his H bomb. Can he strike or grapple with him. If he gets put on his back I'm very worried we might see the first legit Hendo stoppage to strikes and I also fear it could be brutal elbows raining down on his cranium.

We love Hendo but he is a 185 pounder masquerading as 205 guy who intermitently ****s up heavyweights.
