No chance the 30 million was bull****, Ortiz got $2.5 million only for a fight that didn't do that much less on PPV than this and Mayweather got $40 million so for a fight that done 1.25 million homes there was only $42.5 million in the pot

for this fight there probably was $55 million at most, dont forget they had to pay Canelo and Mosley and the undercard fighters even Jessie Vargas got $125k.

Realistically Mayweather got about $42 million imo and Cotto around $13 million.

Pacquiao does deserve 50-50 when he fought Marquez for the third time it done higher at the gate and box office than mayweather fight with ortiz, as well as exceeding mayweathers number of when he fought Marquez 2 years prior

-Ortiz isn't as big a name as Marquez. That's like comparing buys from Pac/Bradley to Floyd/Cotto because it will be their most recent fights.
-Marquez I and II did less than Floyd vs Marquez
-Marquez III official numbers have not been released
-When official numbers have been released against common opponents Floyd always draws more (Hatton, De La Hoya, Cotto)

    Deal with it.

Arum will not allow HBO to release actual PPV numbers on any TR fights, that is why you will never see anything official.

Mayweather v Ortiz official numbers were released at 1.25 million homes and $78 million in revenue.

PAC v JMM did not come close to 1.45 million homes. That is a number planted by TR. Truth is that fight did between 1.25-1.3 tops, which is still awesome. It did not generate near as much as Mayweather v Ortiz though because Mayweather charges more for his PPV's.

PAC v Cotto did about 1.25 and generated less than $70 million. Still great though.

Both Mayweather and PAC are amazing draws but Mayweather is clearly the bigger money producer. He gets more per PPV, more on his tickets in the arena and more money in his pocket.
