Jones' wins over Hopkins, Toney and Tarver. His dominance at 175 and his all around skill level just puts him head and shoulders above Pac. What a fighter.

Tough call, but I do hold Roy's freefall against him. There's something to be said about longevity and consistency and Pac at 33 is still near his prime. Roy at that age was getting bounced around like a pinata by the Tarvers of the world.

At 33 he whooped Ruiz for one of his best career wins.

Be interesting to see if the guys who hold Roy's losses against him late in his career, hold all of Pac's losses against him early in his career as well.

Even without those losses Pacquiao is greater, I don't even see how this is debatable.

In addendum, Roy doesn't have wins within the same stratosphere of JMM, Morales, MAB. In second thought, this really isn't close afterall...I was just swayed by the memory of the ol Roy Jones.

    He drained back to 175?

I don't know about you but I wouldn't wanna see Pac go back down to 130.

Yeah because Hopkins and Toney don't mean anything right?

Don't forget, Pac has been schooled by both Marquez and Morales :good

Roy maybe the greatest talent of all time, but it takes someone like Ali to beat Pac on resume. The man has fought and beaten badly quite a few ATG's.
