This is with the caveat that the fight be 15 rounds. This will greatly reduce the possibility of a decision, which could go to the wrong guy (which could easily happen in this one).

 

Only *****s give a **** on how much Floyd could have on the split, as if they will be given any chances of money from floyd.

Just agree for the 50-50 and fight for the love of boxing fans.

 

Both guys will be getting home an astronomical payday just for signing to fight each other.

It doesn't matter who outdraws who, they will both get their career highest payday and not in any way close to what they'll get against all the fighters at 147 and 154.

Settle with 50-50 and be done with it. There's too much **** already.

And people jumping the gun claiming this one fight proves Floyd suddenly deserves 60-40 or more, are forgetting Pacquiao has two fights this year to try to match it and a Cotto rematch will be more likely now that he and Floyd had such a success. Pac fighting this perceived much improved Cotto could sell as much and we'd be back we were

Pac wont agree to a 60-40 split.

And Floyd wont want to agree the 40-40 then 20% to the winner. "that's not how negotiations take place". Duh?

And most of all, how would anybody of you agree about the 40mil share for pac, and the rest including the PPV goes to Floyd? It takes two to tango ffs.

So the best option is to take 50-50 and there you go. equal share to both of the teams, and 100% satisfaction for the fans.

 

How does a guy who gets consistently beat in common opponents PPV-wise get a 50/50 split? it's just not possible. And has never happened in boxing history.

 

A true boxing fan would not care about the split for this one.
A true boxing fan would acknowledge that both fighters bring a tremendous amount of money to the table and there is not much difference between the two revenue wise.

They'd JUSt want to see the fight made for the good of the sport. If this fight falls through because of MONEY then i will be majorly pissed off
