Pac has been outboxed too many times in his prime. Roy has better wins and a more historically significant career. Clearly better.
I think they're pretty much equal resume-wise, but Roy's dominance and skills at his prime were just out of this world. I'd give Roy the edge, but only by a slight margin.
Roy wins this handily. Roy in his prime was a RARE talent. Paquiao throughout his prime has been beaten. Keith
What are Roy's better wins? A green Hopkins and James Toney? Pac has Barrera, Marquez, Morales, Cotto, Mosley , Oscar, Hatton (etc) on his resume... That's not even mentioning the endless amount of belts he has in 8 different weight classes. This isn't even close. You don't rank fighters by their talent, you rank them by what they did.
Ok I won't call him green. Pac's resume still heavily out-weighs Roy Jones. It's not even comparable.
That's based on what? Jones never fought anybody that great aside from two guys who weren't yet great when he fought them. Looking good against cans doesn't make you great. That's why we don't rank on 'skills' or 'talent. ' It's who you beat that matters, and Pac also happens to be pretty talented himself.
