    "I just got news that surgery went smoothly but he'll be out for six months. I ask that you pray for him in this time of need"

    Damn this sucks. Hope he hasn't damaged anything necessary to compete. Glad he's ok and will be back, but he needs to be 110% to prove to the world he's by far the best Dirrel.:deal

    Since Dirrell was about to fight for the "vacant" WBC belt, I have a feeling that a certain oversized spoiled Mexican middleweight is going to be the prime beneficiary of this.

    :thinkNow, that's an interesting idea. KO Lee. The KO Martinez. Then move up to SMW and KO:think(?)?

    Who the heck would he be fighting for the vacant title by the end of the yr. If the TS is right, Dirrel will be back to challenge about the same time as that spoiled BEST MW in the world would be ready for the move up!:deal

    Nope, don't think he'll be fighting Martinez. This just makes it that much easier for his team to declare that it's too hard to make middleweight immediately after the Lee fight. Then the WBC can line up a can for him to determine their super-middleweight "champion."

    Tough times for the brothers but I would much rather see Andre fight for that WBC Title that Anthony was number one contender. Actually I don't get it why it is being stripped from Andre Ward.

    That is maybe a good news for Stevenson. The Dirrell's don't seem to be the most brillant brothers out there.

    I feel bad for him, but damned, don't these kids get warned about doing dangerous stuff? I was talking to some guys one day and they are going over a list of people the knew that were killed, injured, lost limbs, turned into vegetables while riding motorcycles and then turned to me and asked when I was going to start riding. Great salesmen these two were.......
