I'd probably have Pac about 5 spots higher on an ATG list. Jones was better peak for peak.

hopkins prime was when he was the undisputed mw champ & top of the p4p list. banging out tito...not drawing with mercado.

toney never had a prime. he was up & down his whole career. great one fight...**** the next.

the dead at the weight toney rjj faced was not a "prime" (ie the best he could possibly be) james toney. he was ****ed from cutting so much weight.

Now your bringing me back to square one with these type of posts.

We could go over and over again with this.

When was he lineal champ outside of light heavyweight? Beats me.

Suddenly Hopkins was in his prime, when in fact Hopkins primes late. He was older, but much better fighter when he reigned as a the undisputed middleweight champion.

Yeah, 1 loss, and tons of mandatories who has in a million years no chance of beating him. Let alone, this is a big help why he had no wins in question. Why he hasn't fought gusy who he should have is the true question.

Yeah, first points loss at 35, but got pancaked twice before consecutively.

And someone got the 2000's decade as well.

    What else?

And Pac was Pancaked by cab drivers. Do you take that into account at all? How about getting beaten up by an old Morales?

What's wrong with mandatories? Some of the best fighters ever like Duran and Joe Louis made their name being the best in their division.

Is it better somehow that Pac jumped weight classes and fought "name" guys coming off of losses and making them fight at catchweight bouts for made up titles? What about Pacquiao ducking Mosley in 2009 when he was the champ? Ducking Mayweather in 2010 when he was the champ?

Until he fights and beats his contemporary, Mayweather, it's impossible to rank Pac above Roy Jones or Hopkins, who never ducked anyone.

    er...what?

like rjj didn't fight dm or collins or eubank or benn or rocchigiani or nunn or lilles...

or any decent hw at a time where there where ****ing loads of them?

jones failed to meet so many of his contemporaries it's ****ing insane.

he never faced b-hop in his prime even tho everyone wanted to see that fight when they were p4p no. 1 & no. 2.

you must be trolling or ridiculously biased.

    pac's resume pisses on both rjj's & b-hop's. it's clear as day.

In Pac's early career? This is utterly laughable that you bring this up. Yeah, Arguello got KO'd in his pro debut. Why did you forget to mention that.

Ever know your boxing history? Loius had the bum of the month club. Google it for additional knowledge ayt? As for Duran, he fought mandatories and afterwards moved on to bigger things. Not stagnate a division.

Your argument has always been Morales. Did they fought at a catchweight? No. Can Morales make 130 at that time, he did and he agreed to fight at that weight division. Not Pacquiao's fault. Same as with Cotto and De La Hoya. I'll concede the Margo fight for you as a handicap okay?

I would agree with you regarding beating Mayweather to boost Pacquiao's legacy, but it is already beyond Jones at this point with or without Mayweather.

Okay brush up your knowledge some more, and stop asking me to reply everytime you post. I still have life outside this forum. See ya mate.

Why didn't they come over and challenge him then?
 Those guys carry the exact same weight that beating Johnson, Tarver, Woods, Malinga and Griffin do.

Stop tossing out names for the **** of it. I'm sure if he missed out on slapping McCallum around you'd have tossed him in there too.

This post isn't even worth replying to. Did you just quickly google Joe louis and "bum of the month club" came up?

    Go to bed kiddo.

    wait...

    why didn't who challenge him?

nunn? a fellow american who was twice mandatory but shamelessly ducked?

collins? who chased rjj around the country, ambushing him at press conferences & turning up in the ring after his fights to specifically challenge him?

rocchigiani who sued the wbc for taking his belt off him & giving it to jones without letting him fight for it?

lilles who beat him in the ams & was avoided like the plague by rjj?

& if your argument is that pac hasn't faced mayweather...then none of that matters. jones didn't face these guys...& loads of others. the guys he did face were some of the worst opposition you could find at the time.

pac's resume absolutely shits on rjj's resume.

you don't know what you are talking about. :deal

denying that jones ducked liles? you're trolling.

    a) not the drained corpse of toney that rjj faced.

    b) pac's resume pisses on rjj's resume. & that's already been proven.

can't think of a proper argument?

    pac's resume >>>>> rjj's resume.

& "schooled" is the word you were looking for. as in "you just got..."

I expect you to lump Kell Brook's name in with a bunch of no hope euros that Pac forgot to fight during his 'reign', ok?

    why?

    brook ain't done ****.

the guys i mentioned rjj ducked were all world champs around the same time as rjj & in the same weight classes as rjj. so it's a bit different. two of them even had world titles literally stripped off them & handed to rjj on a platter...one of them sued the wbc over that & won, nearly bankrupting the org.

oh...& 2 of them were american. not that you've have spotted that you total mong. :nut

    you've embarassed yourself. :hi:
