Imagine the revenue that Lewis/Holyfield II and those Tyson fights in the 90s would've generated today when you take inflation into account.

    Pac v Cotto 1.25M
Floyd v Cotto 1.5M (on Cinco de Mayo)

That's .25M more, Pac definitely deserve ZERO PPV.

But you said Pacquiao should accept $40 million if the PPV made $100 million, but as I told you Floyd and Oscar only split $77 million when the fight brought in $137 million so how did you come up with that figure?

They split $79,000,000....the rest went to other investors...there are other people and businesses that make money...it does not all go to the fighters bro...plus you have to look at the guarantee's..Oscar was guaranteed $23,300,000 and Floyd was guarantee'd $10,000,000...those are expenses...Floyd made $16,200,000 while Oscar made $29,500,000 off the revenue.

They should do that more often. Top Rank never has, right?

I think you will find HBO take a huge share of it, which is the point I was trying to get across to Maldini rather than the fighters splitting the lot.

For Pacquiao to take home $40 million he will have to be aiming for $52 million before paying Arum the 27.5% he takes, which means the fight will have to bring in $180 million plus.

Worth pointing out that from Pacquiao's fight with Cotto that 110,000 buys came from Puerto Rico so it will be interesting to see if Golden Boy adds those from PR into their total too.

So 1.14 buys in the USA.

According to Shaeffer and Rafael (espn) the total will increase with more numbers to come.

Not necessarily by much but the 1.5M is what they have gotten so far.

The fight did as expected with 4 "name" fighters on the card.
