Ortiz has no business fighting down at WW if he's weighing in at 164lbs on fight night!

3 fights ago he was a Junior Welterweight.

Weigh classes are not where most fighters actual weights are. They boil down in the hope of having an advantage over smaller guys. Marvin Hagler could conceivably been a 154lb fighter.

Chavez Jr weighs in at 160, and comes in at 180.

Khan used to weigh in at 135 and come in at about 150.

Almost everybody does it, because Boxing no longer has same day weigh ins.

I know all this mate, you don't need to teach me to suck eggs.

All I am saying is a "fight night" Mayweather (@147) doesn't weigh anymore than a "fight night" Peterson.

Fighting someone at that weight isn't alien to Khan!

Ariza has a reputation? Well I never...

I used to think Khan'd get to 154, but he gets busted up on the inside by LWW's :-(

Mayweather would be the physically strongest person Khan had fought.
