Rakhim Chakhkiev express!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see Huck, Lebedev , Hernandez lasting 12 rds with him.
But at 29 he's gong to need to speed up things a little if he wants to go to HW.

 

So are Chagaev and Sultan Ibragimov. Not saying i think he should go to HW but he does have a style that would be well suited for a shorter HW and if his power translates it could work.

 

Romanchuk dropped him a couple times in their fights and i think he may have also been down in one of his fights against M'Bumba.

 

I've seen him receiving standing counts vs Romanchuck but not being really hurt; have any videos of him getting decked ?

He doesn't have devastating power, though. More of a cluster puncher. He might do well to stay at Cruiser.

 

Fourth time Page was stopped but still very impressive. Luis Ortiz was the last one to stop him But That was at heavyweight. The first two are Way back at the start of Pages career.

 

Im impressed by him as Well and I hope hé Can cleanout the division. Just wanted to point out That Page has been stopped before. But as I also Said its still Great That Chak could stop Page as That is a hard thing to dó. Especially impressive to dó it at CW.

 

You bet! Chakhkiev is a true warrior. Super strong and durable for a cruiser weight, and equipped with a left that can clean take a man out when it land on the chin, or body.


Good hand speed. Solid skills, but he's obviously a better attacker and brawler then boxer mover type that piles up points with a jab.

Love to watch this guy do his stuff.

 

Right. Chakhkiev is a bit short to match up with the Kiitschkos's ( so is 85% of the division ), but he would not be giving up much height or weight vs Povetkin, or Boystov, and hits hard enough to take out Pulev ( I think ). We saw Povektin in a great fight vs. a crusier weight recently.


I think Chakhkiev could move up to the heavyweight division and win a title as long as he does not face Klitschko. Chahkhkiev is at his ideal weight of 205-210 on fight night after re-hydrating to make the 200 cruiser weight limit at the weight in.
