Successfully sued. Sorry. They have been careful in their wording, anyone involved with this show will be deemed to have withdrawn their membership of the bbboc. There is a point of law in the uk regarding threats.

You cannot say "I am going to assault you and break your jaw blah blah blah" that is a threat.

You can say "if you do x y or z I am going to assault you and break your jaw blah blah blah", that is a threat with a proviso. That means its a step away from a threat, you have to do something first to make it happen.

You cannot say, " if you don't do x y or z I am going to........" because that is coercion.

So the board have taken the very legal option. If they then act, I am not sure what would happen as after all it is a private club, their rules, their club etc. But what they have done so far is legal. I say they won't be successfully sued, because I doubt either sides lawyers will let it get that far.

They suspended him and then set an appeal for July. July does sound a bit late but Frank says his fight can't be out of the ring but Chisoras had time out before. He didn't seem to care when he bit an opponent.

Its all getting silly now, if both want to fight, and the public want to see it then let the market dictate.

Why bother with rules in boxing. It wouldn't harm to allow the odd round house kick to go unnoticed would it.

It's a boring fight anyway, it already smells bad.

Whats the odds on the fight not happening? Might throw a tenner on that.

The BBBC had to act. If they didn't they would become a lame duck.

Frank is obviously confident that his lawyers are BIGGER than the BBBC's lawyers.

The truth.I cannot believe that so many so called "fans" are calling for the BBBC's head on a platter. They have served boxing well in the UK and without them it will be pure anarchy.Unless Frank aproaches the BBBC with some type of contrition, this fight should not be held in the UK.

Too many fans are supporting something which could prove disastrous in the long run.

****** could use this to give you lot endless Karpency rate fights.

Everyone seems to forget Burns/Cleverly opponents.

That would be allowed whether you use the BBBofC or some other organization. It isn't like the BBBofC stopped Haye vs Audley from happening is it? Or indeed, they didn't stop Cleverly vs Karpency happening.

Low quality fights are a different issue.

The issue here, imo, is that the BBBofC want to bully people, when they should just accept that they ****ed up with Chisora and learn the lesson.
